Final velocity = v = 0m/s (Truck comes to rest)
Time taken = t = 3s
Mass = m = 1500 kg
Acceleration = a = ?
We know that,
a = (v-u)/t
a = (0-25)/3
a = -25/3 (Negative sign indicates that it is retardation)
We also know that,
Force = Mass * Acceleration
F = ma
F = 1500 * -25/3
F = -12500 N (-ve sign indicates retarding force)
