Solution :

Given,

Mass (m) = 50 000 kg

Pressure (P) = 2,500,000 pa

Force (F) = ? , Area (A) = ?

We know that,

\implies \huge{\boxed{\sf{F= mg}}}

So, we get:

\implies F = 50 000 × 10

\implies F = 5,00,000 N

And,

We know that,

\boxed{\sf{Pressure = \frac{Thrust}{Area}}}

So,

\implies Area = Thrust / Pressure

\implies Area = 5,00,000 / 25,00,000

\implies Area = 1/5

That is:

\implies Area = 0.2 sq. unit

Therefore,

Correct option: (B) \sf{0.2\:m^{2}}
