Answer:

speed = 36km/h

distance traveled in 1 hour (60 min) = 36km = 36000m

so, distance traveled in 1 min = 36000/60

= 600 metre

now,

distance traveled in 1 min ( 60sec) = 600 metres

so, distance traveled in 1 second = 600/60

= 10 metres

so, distance traveled in 15 second = 10 × 15 = 150metre.

Given:

A truck moves at the speed of 36km/hour.

To Find:

How far will it travel in 15 seconds

Solution:

convert 36Km/hr into m/sec.

Formula is :  multiply 5/18 to convert from Km/hr into m/sec

Now , 36 * 5/18 = 10m/sec.

∴ Speed = distance / time.

so, distance = speed * time

==> distance = 10 * 15

==> distance = 150 meters or 0.15 km

Result:

Distance travelled = 150 m.
