Answer:

first we have to convert km/hr to. m/s. So 36km/hr= 10m/s. 72km/hr= 20m/s

Explanation:

K.E1=1/2×m×v^2

=1/2×1000×10^2

=50000J

K.E2=1/2×m×v^2

=1/2×1000×20^2

=200000J

Increase in kinetic energy=K.E2 - K.E1

=200000J - 50000J

=150000J
