Mass of the truck(m) = 1000kg

Initial velocity(u) = 36km/h = 2m/s

Final velocity (v) = 72 km/h = 4m/s

Change in Kinetic energy = K.E(final) - K.E(initial)

=½mv²-½mu²

=½m(v²-u²)

=½×1000(4²-2²) = 500×(4+2)(4-2) = 500×6×2 = 500 × 12 = 6000J
