Solution :

Given :

▪ Initial speed of truck = 30mps

▪ Final speed or truck = 60mps

▪ Time interval = 1min

To Find :

▪ Distance travelled by truck in the given time interval.

Concept :

✏ First we have to calculate acceleration of truck after that we can find out distance travelled by truck.

✏ Acceleration is defined as ratio of change in velocity to the time interval.

Conversion :

▪ 1 min = 60s

Calculation :

\leadsto\bf\:a=\dfrac{v-u}{t}\\ \\ \leadsto\sf\:v^2-u^2=2as\\ \\ \leadsto\sf\:v^2-u^2=2{\large{(}}\dfrac{v-u}{t}{\large{)}}s\\ \\ \leadsto\sf\:(60)^2-(30)^2=2{\large{(}}\dfrac{60-30}{60}{\large{)}}s\\ \\ \leadsto\sf\:3600-900=2(0.5)s\\ \\ \leadsto\underline{\boxed{\bf{\pink{s=2700\:m}}}}

GIVEN:

INITIAL SPEED = 30m/s

FINAL SPEED = 60m/s

TIME INTERVAL = 1 MIN

                           =60 sec

FIND:

THE DISTANCE TRAVELLED DURING THIS TIME INTERVAL

SOLUTION:

SPEED =DISTANCE/TIME

60-30 = DISTANCE/ 60

30= DISTANCE/60

DISTANCE = SPEED * TIME

DISTANCE = 30*60

DISTANCE= 1800 M
