QUESTION:- A truck running along a straight road increases its speed uniformly from 15 m (sec) -1 to 30 m (sec) -1 over a time interval of I minutes . Find the acceleration .Also find the
distance travelled by the truck during this interval.
ANSWER:-we can apply the given information
U=15m/s
v=30 m/s
t=1 Min=60 s
a=(v-u)/t
=(30-15)/60
=15/60=1/4 m/s2
s=ut+1/2 at2
=15(60)+1/2*(1/4)*60*60
=900+450
=1350 m
=2.7 km
