Distance,

Now using,

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

0 = 25×25 + 2×25×a

50a = - 625

a = - 1.25 m/s^2

This negative sign denotes retardation

also,

v = u + at

0 = 25 - 1.25t

1.25 t = 25

t = 20 seconds
