We will use the equation of motion.

Since we have the initial velocity, the time and the distance we will use the following equation :

S = ut + 0.5at²

Where :

S = Distance

U = Initial velocity

a = Acceleration

t = time

Doing the substitution :

400 = 0 × 20 + 0.5 × a × 20²

400 = 200a

a = 400/200

a = 2 m/s²

Force = mass × acceleration

Force = mass × acceleration

Metric tones to Kgs:

1 metric tone = 1000 Kgs

Mass = 5 × 1000 = 5000 kg

Force = 5000 × 2 = 10000 N

☺ Hello mate__ ❤

◾◾here is your answer...

u = 0 m/s

t = 20 s

s = 400 m

According to the second equation of motion:

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

400 = 0 + 1/2 × a × (20)^2

a = (400 × 2 )/400 = 2m/s^2

7 metric tons = 7000 kg

Now,

Force = mass × acceleration

⇒ F= 7000 × 2 = 14000 N

I hope, this will help you.

Thank you______❤
