Answer:

Initial velocity, u = 0

Distance travelled, s = 300 m

Time taken, t = 10 s

We know, s = ut + ½ at2

Or, 300 = 0 + ½ a (10)2

Or, a = 3ms€“2

Now, d=8000g, a = 3 ms€“2

Or, F = ma = 8000 ×3 = 24000 N Ans.

Explanation:

Mass = 8000 kg

Distance (s) = 300 m

Time (t) = 10 seconds

Acceleration = ?

Force = ?

Now, putting these values in the following equation, i. e.

s = ut+ 1/2 at² , we get

300 = 0* 10 + 1/2 * a * (10)²

300 = 0 + 50a

300 = 50a

a = 300/50

a = 6 m/

Now,

Force = mass * acceleration

F = 8000 * 6

F = 48000 N
