Initial velocity of the truck (u) = 0 m/s

Time taken for acceleration (t) = 10 sec

Acceleration of the truck (a) = 2 m/s^2

Let the final velocity of the truck be v

Now, using the first equation of motion:

v = u + at

v = 0 + 10 × 2

v = 20 m/s

Now, the stone is dropped from the truck. The stone will have the same velocity as that of the truck because it was moving with the truck.

Hence, the velocity of the stone = 20 m/s
