A truck starts from rest and roll downs a hill .It travels a distance of 400m in 20s .Find the force acting upon .Why can't we use the formula a= v-u/t?If we can please tell me the answer.

f = 2m (m - mass is unknown)

we can't use the formula a = v-u/t

because we don't know v so we can't use it.

s = ut + 1/2at^2

400 = 1/2at^2

800 = a(400)

a = 2 m/s^2
