Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

a = 0.5 m/s^2

F = 3000 N

● Explanation -

# Given -

u = 0 m/s

s = 400 m

t = 20 s

m = 6000 kg

# Solution -

Using Newton's kinematics eqn,

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

Substitute values,

400 = 0×20 + 1/2 × a × 20^2

400 = 200a

a = 0.5 m/s^2

Force acting on the truck is -

F = ma

F = 6000 × 0.5

F = 3000 N

Hope this helps you...
