A truck starts from rest and rolls down a hill with a constant acceleration. It travels a

distance of 600 m in 10 s. Find its acceleration. Find the force acting on it if it’s mass is 7
metric tonnes. i will mark it as the brainliest

Answer:

The acceleration is 12 m/s squared and the force acting on the truck is 84000 Newtons.

Explanation:

m=7 Metric Tonnes=7000kg

s = 600m

t = 10s

u = 0m/s (As it has started from rest)

2nd Equation of Motion:

s=ut+\frac{1}{2}a{t}^2

600=(0*10)+\frac{1}{2}a{(10)}^2

600=50a

a=\frac{600}{50}

a=12m/{s}^2

From Sir Isaac Newton's 2nd Law of Motion we know that:

F=ma

F=7000kg*12m/{s}^2

F=84000N

Hope it helps.
