A truck starts from rest and rolls down a hill with a constant acceleration. It travels a distance of 400 m in 20 sec. find its acceleration. Find the force acting on it if its mass is 7 metric tons.

according to the question,

initial velocity of truck (u) =0

distance (s)=400 m

and time =20 second

mass of truck =7 metric tons= 7000kg

s=ut+1/2 at*2

400=0*20+1/2*a*20*2

400=0+1/2*400a

400=0+200a

400/200=a

2m/s*2=a

therefore,f= m*a=7000*2=14000N
