a truck starts from rest and Rolls down a hill with a constant acceleration it travels a distance of 400 m in 20 second find its acceleration find the force acting on it if its mass is 7 tonnes (1 tonne=1000 kg)

Here it your solution
Since it starts from rest so u = 0
Time = 20sec
S= 400
Apply
S= ut + 1/2 a tt
hence
400 = 0*20+1/2*(20)(20)
400 = 200a
a = 2 m/ s
we know F = ma
force = 70000*2
= 14000N

s = 400 m

According to the second equation of motion:

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

400 = 0 + 1/2 × a × (20)^2

a = (400 × 2 )/400 = 2m/s^2

7 metric tons = 7000 kg

Now,

Force = mass × acceleration

⇒ F= 7000 × 2 = 14000 N
