u=0m/s
s=400m
t=20s
m=7tonnes
=7×1000 1tonne=1000
=7000
s=ut+1/2at 2
400 =0×20+1/2×a×20 2
400 =1/2×400
400 = 200a
a=400/200
a=2m/s
F=ma
=7000×2
=14000N
hope ut helps y☺☺☺

\textbf{Solution}

Given, Initial velocity of truck (u) = 0 (Since, truck starts from rest) .

Distance travelled, s = 400 m

Time (t) = 20 s

Acceleration (a) = ?

As we know that

S = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}  \\  \\ Putting  \: the \:  values \:  we \:  get \\  \\ 400 = (0 \times 20) +  \frac{1}{2} \times a \times 20 \times 20 \\  \\ 400 = 0 + 200a \\  \\ 400 = 200a \\  \\  \frac{400}{200}  = a \\  \\ 2m/ {s}^{2}  = a

Given mass of truck = 7 ton

=> 7 x 1000 kg = 7000 kg {1 ton = 1000kg}

We know that, force, P=m × a

where m is mass and a is acceleration

Therefore,

P =7000kg ×2m/s^2

Or, P = 14000 Newton
