a truck starts from the rest and rolls down a hill with a constant acceleration .It travel s a distance of 400 m in 20s. find its acceleration.find the force acting on it if its mass is 7 tones​

Velocity = Distance /time

V = 400/20

V= 20m/s

Acceleration = v-u

A = 20 - 0

A = 20m/s^2

Force = mass * acceleration

F= 7000kg. 20m/s^2

F= 140000N

given accerelation = constant

distance traveled by body = 400 m

time taken = 20 secs

by using second equation of motion

s= ut + ½at²

400=0+ ½ *a * 20*20

400= 200*a

a= 2m/s²

mass of the body = 7 tones

=7*1000= 7000Kg

now

F= MA

F= 7000*2

F= 14000 Newton
