Given:

The north distance is 25 Km

The other distance is 50 Km

The angle is 60

To find:

The resultant displacement.

Solution:

The distance 50 in components be 50.cos30

The total displacement is

=25i+25i+(-50.cos30j)

=50i-50.cosj

Now the resultant displacement

50² + (43.30)²

=66.143

The resultant displacement is 66.143
