I think Distance = speed / time

Distance = 60 km and 80 km

time = 1.5 hours and 2 hrs

speed = ?

= 60/80

= 3/4

= 1.5/2

= 1.5/2 multiply 3/4

= 36

speed = 36

the answer is 36

Given:

A Truck travels:

➺ First 60 km in 1.5hours

➺ Next 80 km in 2hrs

To Find:

✏ Average speed of truck during journey

Solution:

Total Distance covered by the truck

= 60+80= 140 km

Total Time taken by the truck to complete the journey= 1.5+2= 3.5 hrs

We know that,

\bf{Average\:Speed\:of\:Body=\dfrac{Total\:Distance\:Covered}{Total\:Time\:Taken}}

So,

Average Speed of Truck= 140/3.5

Average Speed of Truck= 40km/hr

Hence, the average speed of truck during journey is 40 km/hr.
