A gentleman is a bundle of many traits, and these traits set one another off agreeably. The first and foremost trait of a gentleman is his magnanimity. Magnanimity is kind and forgiving attitude to one and all, especially to rivals or enemies.  A gentleman never keeps any grudge against anyone in his heart. The second pleasing trait of a gentleman's personality is his respectful demeanour, He respects all, irrespective of their age, sex, colour, creed, or ethnicity. Next comes the trait of being deeply knowledgeable. A gentleman has a vast knowledge of all the essential aspects of life. Another leasing trait of his personality his is chivalry (not towards women alone). Some other prominent traits of his personality are loyalty, patriotism, politeness, empathy, sympathy, compassion and spirituality. Thus a gentleman has many traits which are quite visible in his behaviour.
