Let the CP be ₹ x.
SP = (1+profit/100)*CP
SP. = (1+15/100)* ₹ x
= ₹115x /100
= ₹23x /20

If the SP would be ₹40 more ,then there would be a profit of 25%.
=> ₹23x /20 +₹40. = CP + profit of 25% on CP
=> ₹23x /20 +₹ 40. = ₹ x + 25% * ₹ x
=> ₹23x /20 + ₹ 40 = ₹ 125x/100
=> ₹ 23x/20 +₹40. = ₹5x /4
=> ₹5x/4 - ₹23x/25 = ₹40
=> ₹ 2x/20 = ₹40
=> ₹x. = ₹40 * 20/10
=> ₹x. = ₹400

Ans.= The cost price of the try cycle ₹400.
