A tubelight is cylindrical in shape,

Then the lateral surface area of the tube light must be,
2\pi \: rh
Where r is the radius and h is the height,

so the surface area required here will be
2\pi( \frac{3}{2} )(100)  \:  \: {m}^{2}  \\  = 300(3.14)  \:   {m}^{2} \\  = 942   \: {m}^{2}

Tubelight is in cylinder shape

Surface area of cylinder=2Πrh+2Πr^2

diameter=3cm....given

radius=1.5cm

height=100cm....given

substituting the value

2×22/7×1.5×100+2×22/7×1.5×1.5

Therefore surface area=957

Hope it helps u
