velocity ( v ) = 5 m/s
mass of the water pumped =3000/60
                                   m     = 50 kg/s
K.E. of water coming out per second = 1/2mv^2
                                                       = 1/2* 50 * 25 = 625 joule per second
                                                        = 625 watt .

Answer:

3000Kg water per minute. Mass pumped per sec = 50 Kg/sec

Power is the kinetic energy of water coming out per second

K.E. =1/2mv²=1/2*50*25=625 Joule/Second

We know,

Joule/Second=Watt.

so Power = 625watt or 625W.
