Given:-

  • Work done = 9,50,000J
  • Distance = 35m

To find :-

  • Force acting on a body

SOLUTION :-

As we know that ,

Workdone = Force ×Displacement

Here Displacement = Distance Because as body travels in straight line

Plugging values

9,50,000 = F × 35

F = 9,50,000/35

F = 1,90,000/7

F = 27,142.5N

So, force acting on a body is 27,142.5N

KNOW MORE :-

Work done by body may be Kinetic energy, potential energy, Gravitational potential energy ,Elastic potential energy

Some formulae to remember:-

K.E = 1/2 mv²

  • K.E = Kinetic energy
  • m = mass of body
  • v = velocity of body

W = mgh

  • m = mass of a body
  • g = gravity
  • h = height

U = 1/2kx²

  • U = Elastic potential enrgy
  • k = spring constant
  • x = conpressibility
