A tuning fork when sounded along with a standard source of frequency 300hz produces 5 beats per second the tuning fork,when loaded by some wax ,again produces 5 beats per second with the standard source. The original frequency of the tunning fork is:

when a tuning fork is loaded with wax it's frequency decreases

first it was producing 5 beats per sec that means the frequency could be 305 or 295

as waxing would decrease the frequency and still 5 beats per sec are produced so it should be 305
