A TV set is lying on a table. The TV set experience a gravitational force downward by earth. It also experiences a force on it due to table in upward direction. Do these forces form an action reaction pair? Do these forces allow Newton's third law of motion?

Explanation:

They form an action reaction pair but they will cancel out each other as they are equal and opposite quantities in this case.

check attachment.

T.v is not moving so its acceleration is zero.

F=m.a

Fnet=0 (a=0)

other forces acting on T.v are gravitational force and normal force

from F.B.D

normal force+(-gravitational force)=0 (Fnet=0)

N-W=0

W=-N
