(s.p) = Rs900

Let successive discounts are

d1 and d2.

d1 = 20% , d2 = 10%

Let M.P = Rs x

Now ,

x*[(100-d1)/100][(100+d2)/100]= s p

=> x[(100-20)/100][(100-10)/100]=900

=> x(80/100)(90/100)=900

=> x = (900×100×100)/(80×90)

=> x = 10000/8

=> x = Rs 1250

Therefore,

Marked price=x=Rs1250
