A two digit no. is such that the product of the digit is 14 the two digit no. when 45 is added to the no.,then the digit inter their places find the no.


Dima: What do you mean by the digit inter their places?
Dima: Does it mean that the two digits of the number doesn't change but they switch places ?

ab= 14

(a*10)+ b+ 45= (b*10)+a
14/b*10+ b+ 45= 10b+ 14/b
126/b -9b+ 45=0

9b square -45b-126= 0

b square - 5b - 14= 0
b= 7
a= 2

Therefore number is 27
