Let ten's digit be x and unit's digit be y. So , number = 10x + y. According to condition, 10x + y - 3 = 4(x+y). 10x+y-3=4x+4y. 6x-3y=3 ___ eq 1. According to question, 10x+y+18=10y+x. 9x-9y= -18____ eq 2. Multiplying eq 1 by 3. 18x - 9y = 9______eq 3. Subtracting eq 2 from eq 3. 9x = 27. x = 3. Substituting value of x in eq 1. 18 - 3y = 3. -3y = -15. y = 3.
