so using the given data,

xy = 4(x+y)

xy =2(x×y) (× is multiplication symbol)

now assume I have the number 25

I can say that 25=2×10 +5

so any 2 digits can be written as 10x +y

So ,I can transform the 2 equation as.

10x+y = 4(x+y)

solving this..

6x =3y

2x = y .. (1)

putting 1 in the 2nd equation

10x +2x =4x²

12x = 4x²

3x = x²

3= x

y= 6
