Answer:

14

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the digit in tens place be 'x' and the digit in unit place be 'y'

So the two digit number becomes 10x + y

Its reverse will be 10y + x

Now,

10x + y + 6 = 4(x + y)

10x + y + 6 = 4x + 4y

6x - 3y + 6 = 0

3(2x - y +2) = 0

2x - y + 2 = 0

y = 2x + 2 .....(i)

And,

10x + y + 27 = 10y + x

9x - 9y + 27 = 0

9(x - y +3) = 0

x - y +3 = 0

From (i)

x - 2x - 2 + 3 = 0

-x = -1

x = 1

Then, y = 2(1) + 2 = 4

So, the number is 10x + y = 10(1) + 4 = 14
