When the digits are reversed, the number be (10y + x).
Given that :
10x + y = 7(x + y)
or, 3x = 6y
or, x = 2y .....(i)

10y + x = (10x + y) - 18
or, 9y = 9x - 18
or, y = x - 2
or, y = 2y - 2, by (i)
or, y = 2.
So, x = 4.
Hence, the number is = 42.
