A two digit number is such that the product of its digit is 35. When 18 is added to the number, the

let the digits be x and y

so original no. = 10x + y

it is given that sum of x and y is 35

if we factorise 35 we get the factors as 5 and 7

so we assume that x is 5 and y is 7

so original no. will be 57

on adding 18, we get

57+18 = 75

The digits are interchanged. Given condition is satisfied.

Therefore our assumption was correct and the number is 57.
