Let the no be xy.

A/Q ;

x+y = 8 .. Eq1.

Form of the number is 10x + y.

In second case;

=) 10x + y - 54 = 10y +x

=) 10x - x +y - 10y = 54

=) 9(x-y) = 54

=) x -y = 6 .. Eq2.


Add both eq;

=) 2x = 14

=) x = 14/2 = 7

Put the value of x in eq1:

=) 7+y = 8

=) y = 8-7 = 1

Hence number is in Form 10*7 + 1 = 71
