A tyre pumped to a pressure of 3.375 atmosphere and at 27°C suddenly bursts.caculate the temperature of escaping air.given γ = 1.5.

Hey Mate..

T1γ P1 γ − 1 = T2γ P2γ − 1

⇒ ( 300T2 ) 3/2 = (3.3751) 1/2  

T2 = 300 (3.375)

1/3 = 200K

= −73∘C
