final velocity (v) = 20 m/s

time taken (t) = 8 seconds

mass (m) = 1000 kg

to find :

acceleration & force

solution :

by using first equation of motion

v = u+at

20 = 0+8a

a = 20/8 = 2.5 m/s^2

now,

as we know,

force = mass×acceleration

force = 1000×2.5

force = 2500 Newton

so, acceleration is 2.5 m/s^2 and force is 2500 Newton.
