A uniform plank AB of weight 200N and length 4m is free to move about a horizontal axis at A and is held at rest inclined at 30° to the horizontal by means of a rope attatched to the end B. The rope passes over a smooth pulley fixed at a vertical height 4m above A and carries a weight W at its end. Using suitable triangle of forces show that W=200N
