A uniform rope of length L is pulled by a constant force F. What is the tension in the rope at a distance L from the end where it is applied??

➡ Let T be tension in the rope at point P, Then

==> Acceleration of rope, a=F/M.

==> Equation of motion of part PB is F-T =(ml) a.

==> T= F - (ml) a = F- (M/L) (l) ( F/M ) = [1-l/L] F
