Explanation:

As the formula of gravitational force is

 \frac{gm1m2}{ {r}^{2} }

where g is gravitational constant

m1 is mass of object 1

m2 is mass of other object

and r is the distance between them.

m1 is the mass of the rod which is in the form of semicircle

the radius of the semicircle is

2πr = L

r = L/2π.

F = G.M.m/(L/2π)^2
