mm is wound on a scale in turns
such that it covers a distance of
6 divisions. The scale taken has
each cm being calibrated to 10
divisions. Find the number of
turns wound.​

ANSWER:

1cm = 10 divisions

=> 1 division = 0.1 CM or 1mm

Diameter of wire = 0.6mm

Distance covered by wire on the scale = 6 divisions

=> 6× 1 mm = 6mm

No. of turns wound = Distance covered/Diameter

=> 6mm/0.6mm

=> 10 turns
