As length of AB is l / 2 and its mass center would be l / 4 cos 30 degree &  l / 4 sin 30 degree .

Mass center of AC would be l / 4 cos 30 degree & - l / 4 sin 30 degree .

As mass center is the mid point . So,

C = l / 4 cos 30 degree ,  0

Distance required = l / 4 cos 30 = √3 l / 8
