The value of equivalent resistance between any two vertices of the triangle is \frac{14}{3}  Ω

Given

A uniform wire of total resistance 21 ohm is bent in shape of an equilateral triangle.

To Find

We need to find the value of equivalent resistance between any two vertices .

Solution

Resistance is proportional to length.

Resistance in each side is =  \frac{ total resistance}{side\\}

                                           = \frac{21}{3}

                                           = 7 Ω

hence

  effective resistance between any two vertices will be

         R_{eff}   =\frac{14}{7+ 14} × 7

                   = \frac{14}{3}  Ω
