The measurement of this bath is 897 square feet and it is 8 feet lower than the surrounding pavement. The great bath of Mahenjo Daro is called " earliest public water tank of the ancient world " . Two wide staircase one from the north and other is south, served as the entry to the structure. The floor of the bath system was made of burnt bricks.
