2y +50=180(ASP of triangle)

2y=180-50

2y=130

y=130/2

y=65

y+x=180(linear pair)

65+x = 180

x= 180- 65

x= 115

Find the value of x :

  • In this figure one angle is marked. And that is 50°.

  • It is an isosceles triangle.

  • (180 - 50)/2 = 65 \degree
  • so the other angles inside the triangle is 65°.

  •  \sf \:  50 \degree + 65\degree +65\degree  =  \red {180\degree}
  • We know the sum of the angles inside a triangle = 180°

  •  \sf \: x \degree = 180\degree - 65\degree = 115\degree

  • Over here the property linear pair is used.

So the value of x = 115 °
