A user is connecting to an e-commerce server to buy some widgets for a company. The user connects to the site and notices there is no lock in the browser security status bar. The site does prompt for a username and password and the user is able to log in. What is the danger in proceeding with this transaction?

if a site do not have lock button add security status by it does not mean that site has been had or can be hacked that is just the security given to the website so that not everybody can have it all the professionals can try to hack it if they will hack the server will automatically informed the user that their site has been hacked and user will do something for the side or whatever. many of the sides still do not have security butter but still they are running their business globally and having good responses. the only real problem that can arrive here is that gives the site has been hacked then the Black hat hacker can redirect the payment not to the company but to his own a account .
