A vechile starting from rest attain a speed of 72km/h after covering a distance of 100m.if the mass of the vechile is 500kg the force exceted by the vechile is :

Speed of the vehicle = 72 km / h

Total distance covered = 1000 m

Mass of the vehicle = 500 kg

Total force exerted by the vehicle = ?

we took us initial velocity and we as final velocity ,

v = 72 km / h

=> 72 × 1000 m / 3600 sec

=> 20 m / sec

s = 100 M = distance

Formula used :

=> V2 - U2 = 2as

=> a = 400/200 = 2 m / s²

Force = mass × acceleration

= 500 × 2

= 1000 N
