Y component is  10√3 m  if A vector in the x-y plane of magnitude 20 m makes angle 60° with the x-axis

Explanation:

Magnitude  = 20 m

angle 60° with the x-axis.

X Component =  20 Cos 60°

Cos 60°  = 1/2

=> X Component =  20 (1/2) =  10  m

Y Component = 20 Sin 60°

Sin 60° =  √3 / 2

=> Y Component = 20 (√3 / 2) = 10√3 m

Y component is  10√3 m
