Answer:

1) for measuring 2 kg , he can use the 2 kg weight ;

2) 3 kg - it can be done with the 5 kg weight minus the 2 kg weight, that is, he can first weigh 5 kg and then minus 2 kg which gives him 3 kg.

3) for 4 kg , he can use the 2 kg weight two times which ultimately gives 4 kg.

4) for 5 kg , he can use the available 5 kg weight .

5) for 6 kg , he can use the 2 kg weight three times to give the costumer 6 kg of vegetables .

6) finally, he could use both 2 kg and the 5 kg weight to give the customer 7 kg of vegetables.

Good luck !

Clearly, the vendor is having two weights that are 2 kg and 5 kg...

That means he can measure the vegetables weighing 2 kg and 5kg..

For weighing 3 kg, he may first measure 5 kg and remove 2 kg from it..

For weighing 4 kg and 6 kg, he could double and triple respectively the weight of 2 kg..

For weighing 7 kg, he could add both the weights...

Hope you find that easy..
