a vegetables seller purchase 50kg of potatoes for rs 500.while opening the sack of potatoes he found 10kg has been spolit. At what rate the vegetables srller should sell the remaining potatoes to earn a profit of 20%

The seller buys 50 kg for Rs. 500
so 1 kg will be (500÷50) = Rs.10
10 Kg has been spoiled.
so balance 40 kg has to be sold for
500 + 20% = Rs. 600
so for 1 kg the seller has to sell Rs. 15 (600÷40)
